I had the opportunity to assist with a unique and urgent situation while visiting the Nurioootpa facility, which perfectly reflected the core values of Mobile Radiology—speed, convenience, and compassion. Upon arrival, I was informed that the patient I was there to assist had already been wheeled out to the ambulance. After speaking with the ambulance crew, they explained that an X-ray was needed to assess whether the patient should be transported to the hospital.
Despite the unusual circumstances, we were able to respond quickly and effectively—thanks to the flexibility and convenience Mobile Radiology offers. All we needed was a powerpoint to connect the X-ray machine to the ambulance generator. Within moments, I took the X-ray while the patient remained safely in the back of the ambulance. The X-ray confirmed a dislocated shoulder, and the patient was promptly provided the necessary treatment.
After several years in a traditional 9-to-5 role, I joined Mobile Radiology Australia in search of a better work-life balance—and I found exactly that. MRA offers the flexibility I was looking for, with adjustable start and end times that allow me to take care of personal responsibilities, such as dropping off and picking up my loved ones.
I discovered MRA early in my career and was fortunate to land a job that lets me prioritise what I enjoy in life beyond just work. With MRA, I get the freedom of being on the road, whether it’s grabbing my favourite food, picking up groceries, or making the occasional Bunnings run. And thankfully with the company provided car, I get to avoid the hassle or cost of owning and maintaining a car.
